Day to Day Info
Meadowbrook, the children are seen as partners in the learning process, taught how to learn and not just what to learn and are actively involved in the academic and behavioural expectations of the school.
Children are encouraged to develop a positive growth mindset, to learn from their mistakes and to continue to challenge themselves by believing in their capabilities. We empower them to have a say in their development.
Many of our children come from other schools and make the most of their new environment by settling in quickly and making excellent progress from their starting points.

Is that REALLY what you want for your child?
Children who are turning five, can join in the September, although entry is not automatic and follows an informal selection process. We also accept children from other schools during any point in the year and subject to space, into any class.
Classes are combined to create four different groups, housed within spacious, bright, airy classrooms. The combination of ages, enhances children’s social and emotional growth and also enables teachers to pitch academic work according to individual needs rather than year group.
Lower Primary: Reception and Years 1 & 2
Upper Primary: Years 3 & 4 and Years 5 & 6
Each class benefits from a highly-experienced class teacher and further appropriate staffing depending on the needs of the children.
Class sizes range from 10 to 20, determined according to the needs of the individuals within the class.
